Everyone starts playing trumpet at different ages, but we all start as beginners. From the first cracked note to all three movements of the Haydn Trumpet Concerto, teachers from all around the world skillfully nurture their students' talent on the trumpet.

The trumpet may only have three valves, but it can be an intimidating instrument. Start your son or daughter with a local teacher who can help your child master the basics.

Ages 6 - 12

INTERMEDIATE

Your son or daughter is getting better, and not missing as many notes. However, there's still a lot of practicing to do before they're ready for the "big leagues". Help them connect with a teacher!

Ages 13 - 16

Your kid's pretty darn good at playing the trumpet, and it's not so painful to hear them practice anymore! It's time to get them ready for more difficult music - find a teacher to help them get there.
