Morgan has experience working with young children and students with unique learning styles, tends to incorporate music theory into her instruction, and is willing to supplement trumpet lessons with aural skills and theory lessons as well.

Morgan is a 2018 graduate of Dickinson College with a BA in trumpet performance. This fall, she will begin her graduate studies at the University of Oregon, and will serve as the graduate assistant for the UO Trumpet Studio and second trumpet of the UO Faculty Brass Quintet. She has studied under the tutelage of Jeffrey Wohlbach, and will soon be a student of Brian McWhorter and mentee of Sarah Viens. She has performed in masterclasses for prominent trumpeters such as Mark Gould, Jack Sutte, Barbara Laronga, and Rachel Therrien (among others), and has taken a number of lessons from a variety of top players and pedagogues in the industry.

As an ensemble performer, she has performed as the principal trumpet for the Dickinson College Orchestra for three years, served as the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp staff principal trumpet for two summers, and has served as the co-principal trumpet of Sinfonietta Polonia's New Year's concert tour of Wielkopolska, Poland in 2017. She was also a member of the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band and won the principal trumpet position of the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Band Festival in 2015. As a soloist, she was a 2017 ITG Conference Scholarship winner, 2018 National Trumpet Competition quarterfinalist, and a two-time winner of the Dickinson College Concerto Competition. Additionally, Morgan enjoys playing in chamber ensembles and big band settings, for which she primarily plays lead trumpet.
